Hey Hey,
I really hated my previous nail colour which was featured in my previous post so I took them off immediately after photographing them. Slapped this colour on instead. Ahh what a sight for sore eyes. I feel much better after painting on this colour. I guess it's a popular colour for a reason.
Just what colour am I talking about??!
It's none other than China glaze's oh so popular Ruby Pumps (from the Wizard of Oz collection)
This is truly an amazing colour! I believe I said almost the exact same thing in my previous post about it. The last post featured a combination colour so this time, I'm showing ruby pumps off as it is. It's as it's name suggests, a ruby red. Only that it's packed with red shimmer that glows when it catches the light. It's the whole "inner glow" thing. More about it in my previous post.
I think pictures really don't do it justice. Anything with "inner glow" shimmer is really hard to capture accurately. It must be seen in person!
Here's a picture of the colour under a different light. The red in this picture is much more vivd in this picture. This is not the exact colour but it shows the shimmer off pretty well!
Argh I can't stand my short nails =( My "finger fats" are all showing. Somehow, my 2nd finger nail is always cut less than the other nails. Gosh! Nonetheless, I think Ruby Pumps can be worn on shorter nails. IMO It looks a little bit freaky on longer nails to be honest. That why I slapped on Essie set in stones in my previous post to "tame" the colour! HAHA!
Here's another picture of it. Blurry one at that. This is like a combination picture of the 1st and 2nd picture. Again in attempt to capture the true colour of this photo. Which comes pretty close I would say.
Digressing once more, it's been raining loads lately. What a relief right! From the hot weather! There's nothing like sleeping in on a rainy day! WOOTS!
~END~
